          Spicy Vodka Cream Habanero Sauce Recipe
          Fresh habaneros are key to this particular habanero sauce recipe. Filled with flavor, it is nice and creamy. We served ours with shrimp though it goes nicely with any pasta. Shown above: Shrimp with Spicy Vodka Sauce.
           Ingredients
          
              - 2       tablespoons olive oil
- 2       jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 1       habanero pepper, chopped
- 6       garlic cloves, sliced thin
- 1       small yellow onion, chopped
- Salt       and pepper to taste
- 1       tablespoon dried oregano
- 1       cup vodka
- 2-3       pounds tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2       tablespoons chopped cilantro
- Prepared       pasta to serve
Cooking Directions
          
              - Heat       a large pan to medium heat and add oil with habanero pepper, jalapeno peppers, garlic and onions.       Season with salt and pepper. Cook about 5 minutes.
- Add       oregano and cook 1 more minute, stirring.
- Remove       pan from heat and add vodka. Return to heat and raise heat to medium.
- Add       tomatoes and cook about 30 minutes, or until tomatoes have broken up and       sauce has combined.
- Add  cream. Stir and cook about 5 more minutes.
- Remove       from heat and toss with prepared pasta.
- Sprinkle       with chopped cilantro and serve!
