Spicy Egg and Cheese Bake with Habanero Peppers
Whether it is breakfast or brunch, you can't go wrong with a simple egg bake. Whipped properly, it will rise to an airy consistency that is both fun and satisfying. The cheese melds with the egg mixture for a delicious flavor. The habanero peppers, of course, bring both flavor and spice. Enjoy!
Spicy Egg and Cheese Bake with Habanero Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 habanero pepper, chopped
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup Mexican style cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- White pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- To a mixing bowl, add habanero pepper, eggs and milk. Beat well to mix.
- Add cheese, chili powder, white pepper and salt. Mix well.
- Pour egg mixture into a small, lightly oiled baking dish and bake about 20 minutes, or until eggs set.
- Serve!
NOTE: As an addition, you can top the eggs with fresh avocado slices or a bit of truffle oil.
