Horsey Juevos Habaneros - a Spicy Egg Salad Recipe

This fiery version of one of our favorite egg salad recipes takes the heat of the habanero and matches it with the distinctive and creamy avocado for an egg salad experience you'll come back to often. Adjust the horseradish sauce and mayo for a more or less creamy egg salad, and of course, feel free to adjust the amount of habanero peppers.
Ingredients
- 6 hardboiled eggs
- 1-2 habanero peppers, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 4 tablespoons horseradish sauce
- 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon dill
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Hand mash the combination with a large spoon so it all mixes well, yet keeping the eggs chunky.
- Serve over toasted bread or buns of your choice!
